Wayne Rooney’s party girl Laura Simpson hits out at ‘attention seeking b******s’ after Coleen’s statement

Laura Simpson appears to have hit out at Coleen Rooney over ‘attention seeking bollocks’ days after she made a statement about her marriage to Everton footballer Wayne Rooney.

The office worker, who has been at the centre of Wayne’s drink-driving scandal, tweeted a cryptic tweet which could have been aimed at Coleen after she posted a heartfelt post on Facebook urging fans not to feel sorry for her.

Laura’s now-deleted tweet said: ‘What a load of attention seeking bollocks’ followed by ‘Kermit the frog’ and a cup of tea emojis –  a combination of symbols used online to suggest you are having a direct dig at someone.

Not surprisingly, Laura’s tweet only lasted on her page for one minute – but not before Metro.co.uk obtained a screengrab of it.

The mysterious tweet, which Laura has not elaborated on, comes after Coleen’s impassioned Facebook statement about her marriage to Wayne.

Not long after deleting that tweet, the 29-year-old posted a similar message on her Twitter account, saying: ‘Very, very attention seeking if you ask me.’

This tweet has not been deleted.

This isn’t the first time tweets from Laura’s accounts have been deleted

Last month Simpson got herself in hot water when she allegedly said that Wayne was ‘hung like an ogre.’

The inappropriate message was later deleted, and in its place was an apology – of sorts – as Laura blamed the entire incident on someone else.

She wrote: ‘I deleted the very insensitive tweet that my friend thought was funny at the time…obviously wasn’t, apologies #verystupidstory.’

Her friend Jordan seemed to accept the blame, replying: ‘Couldn’t resist when she left her phone on the table…I could have put something far worse to be fair haha.’

Coleen, who is expecting her fourth child with the footballer, has been keeping a low profile after Wayne was caught drink-driving alongside office worker Laura Simpson, resulting in her husband being banned from driving for two years and having to carry out a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work.

Sharing a lengthy post on her Facebook page, with her profile picture showing her and her three boys, Coleen addressed the rumours surrounding her marriage.

‘Before all the stories begin, Yes, I have put my wedding ring on……. A lot of people will be saying “you don’t have to explain yourself, don’t feel like you have to do this” etc, I know I don’t, but I am and I want to,’ the lengthy statement began.

‘It didn’t feel right wearing my ring, I see it as a sign of commitment and I was unsure what was happening.’

She addressed fans who have expressed their sorrow for the pregnant mother-of-three and said: ‘A few people have been feeling sorry for me, please don’t. I appreciate getting cared about, however, I am a strong person, I don’t feel sorry for myself.

‘Also a few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try and work on.

‘Before the headlines start…. No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left. Yes, it has been a shit time, and yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end.’

Coleen blasted Wayne’s ‘silly and selfish mistakes’ but insisted that he is ‘a brilliant dad’.
